Finishing her Bachelors in Physiotherapy from Oxford college, Bangalore in 2008, Priya was asked to change her profession, as physiotherapy was not considered a futile profession with much scope.
Refusing to do so and with shortage of fund she started working on part time basis in the evenings. She joined Garden City college of Physiotherapy for Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) in Psychosomatic and Neurological disorders, Bangalore.
She worked under the brand Leena Mogre’s as a personal trainer in the evenings and continued pursuing her masters during day.
In the year 2010 she stood first in her college in MPT and joined TMV University, Pune as a lecturer in department of neurorehabilitation. Her passion for the profession was not satisfied yet and within a year she resigned the job and decided to start something of her own for the people of her own state, Bihar.
The vision of Dr Priya(PT) came into existence in the form of PRATIKSHA on 27th July 2011, with the aim to serve the people of Bihar in special conditions like hand and foot rehabilitation . She started her work in new fields of physiotherapy like

- Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation (Stress Urinary Incontinence)
With the Moto “positive towards differently abled” she aims at educating people about a positive life even with disability of any kind, at any age.
She is trying her level best in diversifying the field of physiotherapy in excellence by organising camps, group discussions and talks on radio.
